Jon Raper leads the GIS/sUAS group. Graduating with a bachelors degree in GIS from Louisiana Tech University in 2004, Jon brings 17 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Jon is an expert in numerous GIS/sUAS software applications and is highly skilled at developing custom tools and software to meet specific client requirements with the vast capabilities that GIS/sUAS has to offer. 

Brian Epperson is currently the lead for Hess' Environment & Regulatory functions in Houston, Texas. He holds an Associate in Environmental Science, Bachelor of Science and Master's in Business Administration degrees.

He has greater than 27 years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety Arena with escalating levels of responsibility including Environmental lead, EHS Manager, Radiation Safety Officer and most recent Sr EHS Manager.

George has over 25 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry. His experience ranges from pumping well analysis to engineering management. 

He is currently an engineer working in automation and cybersecurity for a major integrated oil company.  He has served on numerous standards committees and presented on various automation topics in several forums.

A highly experienced executive, with over 20 years of experience of working in the subsea sector of the Oil and Gas industry.  Mr Mitchell has also spent the last 17 years of his career working within the area of oil and gas technologies, and has grown a strong reputation for technical excellence amongst his peers on a global basis.

Mr Mitchell has also spent the last 12 years working at an executive level, developing the business of his previous employer, Flexlife, from start-up to a highly successful global business in the area of unbonded flexible pipes as well as leading ProFlex Technologies through its first 3 years, developing ground breaking pipeline leak detection technology and forming a global exclusive partnership with Siemens Energy.

Steve is a PhD physicist who co-founded Kairos Aerospace in 2014. Prior to founding Kairos, Steve was a research manager at the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory. He has worked on a variety of NASA- and DARPA-funded programs, including cryogenic detector programs, solar physics experiments and radiation modeling for spacecraft.

Peter Han is the Business Development Manager for Atmos International and is based in Houston, Texas.  He works with pipeline operators and end users in educating and implementing pipeline technology, focusing on pipeline leak detection and simulation software.  He studied at the University of California, San Diego, receiving his bachelor of science in Aerospace Engineering.  He has been with Atmos International for over nine years, starting as a project engineer before moving to business development.  Peter has worked on multiple leak detection projects with various clients, but his primary focus is now to work with end users in discussing available technologies and different solutions to help meet their needs.

For more than three years, Nico Jansen van Rensburg has been dedicated to the development of new digital technologies implementing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to improve the efficiency of onshore oil & gas operations. In his role as Vice President Digital Solutions for Onshore Oil & Gas at Siemens Energy, a global company recognized for delivery world class sustainable technology solutions for the Energy industries, he is responsible for an international team of experts focusing on the development of a global solutions portfolio in onshore Oil & Gas. Having qualifications in electronic engineering and a degree in information technology, he has a strong background in automation and control with more than 17 years’ experience in the Petrochemical industry.

David is an accomplished Business Manager with 20+ years of international oil and gas experience with leading technology organizations where he has held various business-critical positions, including Business Development, Process Improvement, and Operations. In his current role, David is enabling pipeline operators to transform their operations through the adoption of advanced Oil and Gas software solutions, focusing on enhanced safety and efficiency as well as improved decision making through data analytics. David’s academic accomplishments include an MBA from the University of Houston, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified by the American Society of Quality, and certification in Digital Transformation from MIT.

With an Electrical Engineering degree Scott Bauer has 29 years of automation experience in oil & gas, water, marine (commercial and military) and nuclear with EIM Controls and Emerson. As Senior Executive in Global Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, New Product Development and M&A he delivered of New-to-Market disruptive digital technologies and IoT. In his current role with ProFlex Technologies he is the Chief Operations Officer leading the way in innovation.

Steven Koles is the President & CEO of Hifi Engineering, a fiber optic sensing technology company partly owned by Enbridge, Cenovus, and BDC.  Prior to Hifi, Steven was acting CFO at Steeper Energy, President & CEO of Hemisphere GPS, VP & GM at AOL (Time Warner) Canada, Senior VP Marketing & Sales at Group Telecom and several management positions at TELUS Corporation.

Steven has served on boards and in advisory capacities with such organizations as Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) Foundation, Fiber Optic Sensing Association, VentMeter Technologies, and others.  He is a graduate from both the Faculty of Business at the University of Alberta, as well as the Executive Management Program at the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business.  Steven has also received his ICD designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
